"Crossroads" President Clinton calls a meeting at the White House with Nick Fury and Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine. The chief executive wants to know the full story behind Captain America's return to the present day. But Nick Fury is reluctant to divulge any details! However, the President insists! And near the end of the meeting, Cap walks into the Oval Office... and symbolically removes the SHIELD emblem from his uniform! The star-spangled avenger is a free man!
