DC Direct Superman Vs Doomsday Collector Set (2007)

The 2003 Superman line was the first of a number of Superman-specific series released by DC Direct. All figures were sculpted by Tim Bruckner (Supergirl was sculpted by both Bruckner and James Shoop), and come with an “S” shield base.
In 2007, to hype up the Superman/Doomsday direct-to-DVD animated movie, a Superman vs Doomsday Collector Set was released, which included a re-release of the single-card Superman and Doomsday figures, as well as The Death of Superman graphic novel.
