"Avengers Assembled" Part 8 of the Atlantis Attacks storyline. Story continues from Daredevil Annual 5. Lord Ghaur and Llyra have succeeded in resurrecting Lord Set and the Serpent Crown! And now it's time for the next step in their diabolical plan! An all-out attack on the surface world by the legions of Atlantis! Attuma, the ruler of Atlantis, send his armies to attack four military bases on the east coast of the United States! But an awesome collection of super-heroes stands ready to oppose Attuma and his Atlantean hordes! First, the Black Panther, Invisible Woman, Mr. Fantastic, and She-Hulk battle Lord Arno and Orka on Long Island! Second, the Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Human Torch, Sersi, and Wonder Man attack Tyrak in Virginia! Third, the Black Widow, Wasp, Hawkeye, Hank Pym, Tigra, and Thor clash with U-Man and his forces at Fort Hamilton! And in the final engagement, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Mockingbird, and the Vision fight Warlord Krang and his oceanic invaders at Cape Canaveral! Thanks to great teamwork, four battles equal four victories for the Avengers and their friends! So does this mean the threat of the Serpent Crown is over?
