Brave New Worlds started on a dare in Willow Grove Pennsylvania April's Fool's Day of 1989. Oddly enough the store was was originally, and aptly, named the "Comic Book Store", that is, until the shop moved operations to Jenkintown, PA and became Brave New Worlds. Then in 2007 we got the crazy idea to branch open a shop on 2nd Street in the heart of historic Old City, Philadelphia! For 30+ years Brave New Worlds has been there for you when you need something to read...and we'll be here for 30+ more!
THE CREW
While you're in Old City you'll interact with the crew of Rob, BRiAN, and Cacey. All three are knowledgeable about comics but have varying other skillsets to help get you exactly what you're looking for while you're in the shop. They'll gladly help you with any question you may have so stop in and say hey!
GLASS
You may recognize us from our cameo in the 2019 M. Night Shyamalan film GLASS! That was a fun day of filming and even more fun to see the shop on the big screen!
